Hyacinthine Macaws

My file of scanned old film negatives seems to be a frequent diversion these days. This pair of Hyacinthine Macaws were seen in Bermuda (in captivity). There’s something about this image I’ve always liked, the rich blue color and the apparent smile of the one in the foreground make me happy. Sadly, Parrots and especially these Hyacinthine Macaws are endangered due to loss of habitat and human trapping for the pet trade among other causes.

Now, I should probably get back to the edit work I *should* be doing.
